Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club Welcomes the UAEERF National Show Jumping Competition

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

The Al Habtoor Riding School is a proud host of the UAEERF National Show Jumping Competition  on the 06th to 07th of December 2018. The competition has received over 130 entries with showjumpers participating from all over the world. A total prize of AED 140,00 and points await these skilled riders as they demonstrate their excellent training in sync with their cherished horses in 11 classes with jumps ranging from 110 cm up to 140 cm.

Well-known faces in the showjumping scene graced the arenas of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club such as the 19-times Danish Champion Tina Lund. The competition will be judged by Khalil Ibrahim, Mohd Ibrahim Al Nakhi and Ahmed Saif Al Shamsi from the Emirates Equestrian Federation.

As an effort to further enhance and grow the sport of showjumping, the Club will hold its first Grass Roots Training Show on the 07th of December 2018 as well. The show specifically caters to young or amateur riders who are aiming to advance in the sport and ultimately qualify to join an affiliated showjumping competition.


The December edition of the National Showjumping Competition is a part of the Emirates Longines Show Jumping League. Held from October – April, the League features a series of national and international shows that will offer the audience a range of exciting competitions for riders of all levels and ages.
