HH Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup - First Ever 30 Goal Handicap Exhibition Match

The HH Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup, a 30 goal handicap Exhibition match, is the newest addition to the Polo Calendar in the UAE. The first edition will feature top-ranking players at the grounds of Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club on the 15th February 2019.

Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, the Exhibition Match has the highest handicap level ever played in the Middle East and Asia and is expected to receive attendance from VIPs and prominent society figures.

In the first exhibition match, twelve local patrons have confirmed their participation. Each team will be played by three patrons and one professional wherein its patrons will play two chukkers each. Salsabil Polo team will compete against Haafhd Polo team at 14:00:

Spectators of the afternoon will witness an excellent display of the Sport of Kings and will be treated to fun and spectacular entertainment. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the match from the sidelines in picnic style whilst the little ones entertain themselves in a dedicated kids area.

 

The HH Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup is supported by the Al Nasr Cultural and Sport Club, an organization founded with an ambitious vision to create a football team, the creation of which reflected an important and far sighted vision to found a great club that we know and see now. The club was and still is creating the legacy of sport in U.A.E. history.
