Habtoor Polo and Dubai Wolves Win at the Opening of Halloween Cup 2019

The Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club opened the polo season with the Halloween Cup 2019 and will have five competing teams on its fields.

The first match saw the Habtoor Polo team in high gear. It closed the second chukker with a goal from Mohammed Al Habtoor which placed them in the lead with a 4 goal advantage. The game continued with slow gains for Hesketh/AM team and at the sound of the buzzer, the game ended with 8 goals to 5 in favour of Habtoor Polo team.

Also back in season is the Friday Polo Picnic which gave the guests of the afternoon the perfect setting as they watched polo from the sidelines in picnic style. A dedicated kids area and the free pony rides kept the little ones entertained.

Spectators watched Green Gates team and Dubai Wolves in a tight game with successive goals brought in by both teams. The final chukker had Green Gates in the lead and defended its position up to the last 30 seconds of the game. Juanji Diaz Alberdi stole the win for the Wolves and closed the game at 6 goals to 5.

The next match is scheduled on on 28th of November with Mahra Polo team playing against Hesketh/AM Polo team at 15:45, field 3 of Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.
