Ankora Polo Triumphs the AHPRC League in January 2022

The team wins the first tournament of the year.

Four teams participated in a week-long tournament on the grounds of Al Habtoor Polo Club.

Qualifying Matches:

11 January 2022:

Ankora Polo vs. Planernaya Polo: 8 - 5.5
UAE Polo vs. El Basha Polo: 4 - 10.5

13 January 2022:

El Basha Polo vs. Planernaya Polo: 6.5 - 6
Ankora Polo vs. UAE Polo: 5 - 3

The final match of the league was between Ankora Polo and Planernaya Polo teams, with the former taking the lead by the end of the first chukker. The next round saw two goals from Planernaya Polo but those were immediately matched by Ankora which kept the lead on their side. The team kept its momentum and increased the gap in scores, ultimately ending the game at 7 goals to 4.5.

Osama Esmat from Al Habtoor Polo Resort hotel presented the trophies for the teams, with Khalid Alomran winning the Most Valuable Player award.
